River Tiber @ Grizzly Hall 2/2

It’s easy to categorize River Tiber as just an electronic music producer, however, the unique sound of his dreamy, synth heavy tracks, have paved way for collaborations with artists like BADBADNOTGOOD and Dukes, as well as providing vocal samples on Drake’s 2015 hit “No Tellin’ “.

Born Tommy Paxton-Beesley, the Toronto based musician has studied music since his youth– talent that is easily recognized upon hearing his 2015 debut LP, Indigo. Paxton-Beesley’s views towards music were forever altered upon hearing the work of artists like Jimmy Hendrix; music very different from the classical teachings that surrounded him. His newfound interest in music, outside the classical realm, led him to pursue his dreams full time. Aside from beat-production, Paxton-Beesley has also spent time improving his vocal abilities. An interview with Noisey revealed that hearing Jeff Buckley’s classic album Grace, is when he “really started singing.” Despite his recent success, the young producer remains unsigned, although, River Tiber has proven to be perfectly capable without a label.

River Tiber will be performing in Austin next year at Grizzly Hall on February 2nd as part of The Big Baby D.R.A.M. Tour line-up.
