Helmet Announces New Album Dead To The World For October 2016 Release

According to Brooklynvegan, veteran alt-metal group Helmet, who most recently have been performing their album Betty in full, announced that they will be releasing a brand new studio album. This is their first studio album in six years, and from the looks of it, it’s going to be quite the epic release. Dead To The World will be the new installment to come out of the Helmet studios, and will be hitting shelves on October 29th.

In order to support the release of the new LP, Helmet announced that they will be going on a full US tour beginning November third in Bloomington, IL at the Castle Theatre, and concluding in St. Louis, MO on December 17th at the Delmar Hall. The band will be joined on tour by fellow 90’s-era rock group Local H, who most recently returned from their nostalgia tour after putting our their newest album.
