Back in May, Adult Swim announced that they will be beginning their annual feature called Adult Swim’s Single Series Program, bringing artists from all over the spectrum in order to expose some new music of today. Giving the opportunity to download each new single every week, for 19 straight weeks of basically free new music. As of now, Against Me! with “Haunting, Haunted, Haunts“,, VHOL with “Dispatch“, Protomartyr with “Born to be Wine”, Vince Staple with “’06”, plus several more, have all had their chance to bring their unique style to the program.
Today, according to Consequence of Sound, industrial electronic artists HEALTH have continued the series by bringing “Crusher” to the mix. A sinister sounding track that brings a dark note to the already packed selection of music.
Jake Duzsik of the band sat down with Fader to discuss the track, “We made the decision a long time ago to at a least always make an attempt to sound new, and not to sound like anyone else. It’s always been a huge pain in the ass. We hope this song continues that struggle. ”
There are still a few more artist to be featured on the Adult Swim series, look forward to new music in the upcoming weeks.
