According to NME, Los Angeles based pop rock sister trio, Haim have unfortunately announced that they will be forced to cancel their European tour dates this summer. The three sisters, who recently performed at the Girls to the Front benefit, were scheduled to perform several shows over the next couple of months, including a performance at Reading and Leeds, however, earlier this morning the band released a photo of a letter on their Facebook stating they will not be attending any of the expected dates.

The band has been working on their newest studio album, following up their 2013 LP Days Are Gone, but after quite some time of work, they have reached a “critical point” in the process which seems to have taken up their focus.”We hate to disappoint you guys that had plans to come see us and promise we’ll be back in the near future to share our new music with you,” they wrote in their letter.

Whilst it is extremely disappointing from a fans perspective to hear that they will not be able to see their band perform, but this news comes in a bittersweet form, there is prospects of strong new music to come from the band, so there is much to look forward to from these three sisters.
