WATCH: ScHoolboy Q Releases New Video For “THat Part” Featuring Kanye West

ScHoolboy Q has new album that is set to be released in three days. As proof that the mysteriously untitled album is about to surface, he has released a video for the single “THat Part.” This is the dark and ominous track he recorded in collaboration with Kanye West that was released a few weeks ago. The video can be seen below via vevo.

The video was directed by Colin Tilley and the Little Homies, the same crew that put together many of Kendrick Lamar’s videos, according to Stereogum. The video opens with ScHoolboy Q in what looks like an empty warehouse somewhere surrounded by a group of faceless hype men. It is a bizarre set of scenes that do a good job of matching the songs overall mysterious feel that leave the viewer wondering who the men are and why they aren’t allowed to be seen. During Kanye’s verse, a tracking shot follows him throughout what is assumed to be his house while he passes things like strippers and stripper poles. The video wraps up with a shot of a 1-800 number that you can actually call and leave a message for Top Dawg, the TDE founder.

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
