English indie-pop group Fear of Men, who most recently released their track “Trauma” have released their new track off their upcoming album Fall Forever, “Sane” was shared earlier today by the group. Featuring light and feathery vocals that soothes as the song builds, bringing the rat-a-tat of snares and drums, with background noises that make it feel very church like.
According to Brooklynvegan, Fear of Men have shared this new track in order to raise excitement for the new upcoming LP, the Brighton based band that formed in 2011, and has swept up the indie pop world ever since, continues to provide consistent banging tracks one after the other.
The new track does not differ from that model, opening up with what sound like angelic voices heard from above, quickly dropping into the soothing sounds of Jessica Weiss’ beautiful vocals. As the song goes on there is a strong instrumental build up in the background of Weiss’ singing “it’s in your eyes when you’re perfectly sane”, culminating into a huge crescendo of snares, keys, and Weiss’ voice, finishing up with the same angelic tones that the song began in.
Fear of Men, who just performed in the US at SXSW and in NYC, are planning on returning to North America for a full tour as their new album Fall Forever drops on June 3rd.
