The 22-year-old South London ambassador, Stormzy, will be performing at The Echo on March 23 with Lizzo and Kauf for a night full of fresh free-styling. Stormzy is the part of the new generation of UK rappers known for his progressive attitudes toward commercial music. He has even gained the support from the likes of Wiley, Skepta, Krept & Konan, Lethal Bizzle and Wretch 32.
Stormzy rose to fame through his #WickedSkenkManFreestyle series and has gone on to record his first project The Dreamers Disease, with a lead track “Not That Deep” that went on take the number one spot on the iTunes hip-hop chart. Check out the hot track here:
Also on hand is Lizzo, known for her unique style of mixing rapping with singing to make a style all her own. Her debut solo release “Lizzobangers” was fueled by pop-culture, social and historic references.
