The Naked and Famous have announced a series of intimidate live shows on their upcoming tour, and two shows will be in Los Angeles – Wednesday, March 23 at the Teragram Ballroom and Friday, March 25 at the Troubadour. The band is a New Zealand electronic indie native act that formed in 2008, consisting of Alisa Xayalith (vocals, keyboards), Thom Powers (vocals, guitars), Aaron Short (keyboards), David Beadle (bass), and Jesse Wood (drums).
The band released two studio albums so far, the latest being “In Rolling Waves” in 2013, marking them as one of the premier alternative dance bands to emerge in the past few years. Fans have enjoyed the strong melodic pop and ’80s post-punk influence mixed with epic and emotionally charged ballads.
Be sure to catch The Naked and Famous at two special shows – one at the Teragram ballroom and the other at the Troubadour – later this month!
