Dream pop band Beach House will be performing at the Warner Grand San Pedro on April 20, in support of its newest album “Thank Your Lucky Stars.” The show will be part of next month’s Coachella Sideshows, which are shows taking place during the weeks of Coachella to showcase the bands that will be performing at the festival all throughout different venues in LA. Now’s your chance to catch a Coachella act in a more intimate setting.
Indie rock band Beach House has created a sound that has been greatly influenced by some great artists, including This Mortal Coil, Cocteau Twins, The Zombies, Brian Wilson, Françoise Hardy, Neil Young, and more. The resulting sound is quite the amalgamation of audio blends that stir together nicely to create something new, exciting, and warmly familiar.
The band’s new album has been making headlines and rising through the charts. “Thank You Lucky Stars” reached #4 on the Pitchfork Reader’s Most Underrated Album and on #25 on the reader’s Top 50 albums in 2015. Now’s the time to see Beach House – don’t miss out at the Warner Grand San Pedro next month!
