French synthpop band M83 will be performing at the Fox Theatre Pomona on April 19 as part of the Coachella Sideshow going on during the month of April. Many of the bands performing at the festival will play sideshows in venues throughout Los Angeles during the Coachella weeks.
The group has released six albums to date, the latest being the 2011 effort “Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming.” Listen to a song from it here:
Having taken a couple of years off from touring, founder Anthony Gonzalez is looking forward to getting M83 back on the road and playing these new songs live. “What’s cool now is that with all the M83 records there are a lot of different kinds of songs and atmospheres. I can’t wait to play everything live, especially the new record.” That promises to be quite a show, so don’t miss out on M83 when they visit the Fox Theatre Pomona in April!
