New York alternative rock band Nada Surf will be performing at the Teragram Ballroom on May 21. The band is surfing on the good vibes of its 2012 album “The Stars Are Indifferent To Astronomy.” Guitarist and vocalist Mathews Caws said he announced the album was complete in 2015, but after listening some more without the pressures of “getting it done,” he went back into the studio to make some changes. The success of the album shows the effort was worth it.
The band is currently working on their upcoming album to be released in March, 2016 titled “You Know Who You Are.” For a blast to the past, relive “Popular,” the song that made catapulted them to where they are now.
