The Echoplex offers two chances to catch The Melvins in October! On October 24, the band will feature Trevor Dunn (Melvins Lite) and on October 31, the band will feature JD Pinkus. The band is known for having a heavy sludge sound that had a significant influence on the Seattle grunge bands like Soundgarden and Nirvana during the 90s.
The grunge, alternative metal and stoner tock band has many rotating members. The band has released albums as Melvins Lite, Melvins 1983 or just the Melvins depending on who’s in the lineup at the time of the recording. Its latest release was a team-up with Crover and Osborne joining up with the Butthole Surfers’ J.D. Pinkus and Paul Leary on the eclectic Hold It In in 2014.
Despite the difference in lineup, both shows will be great to attend! Be sure to catch the Melvins on October 24 and on October 31 at The Echo!
