Kanye West will revisit his fourth studio album 808s & Heartbreak at the Hollywood Bowl on September 25 in a surprise show that has recently been announced. Tickets will be available on September 4 to the general public. The album 808s & Heartbreak peaked at #1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and #1 on the U.S. Billboard Top R&B Hip-hop Albums upon its release.
The rapper, songwriter, record producer and fashion designer has regularly played songs from his 2008 album since its release seven years ago. This show will allow him to play some of the deep cuts that have not been played live since the album’s release.
Three of Kanye’s albums rank on Rolling Stone’s 2012 “500 Greatest Albums of All Time” list and two of his albums are at #8 and #1 in Pitchfork Media’s “The 100 Best Albums of 2010–2014”.
