This spring, Georgia is going to be home to a new mutli-day country music festival, which was put together by the creators of the Shaky Knees Festival. The first Shaky Boots Festival will take place on May 16th and 17th, 2015, at the KSU Sports and Entertainment Park in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Shaky Boots will be the first-top tier multi-day country music festival to be held in Georgia. And, it is the sister-event to the popular Shaky Knees rock festival, which is taking place in Atlanta on May 8-10th, 2015.

“Country music has such a rich history in the South,” Shaky Boots co-founder Tim Sweetwood said in a press release, “and I was surprised that Georgia doesn’t have a first-class festival dedicated to the genre. Music is my absolute passion, and with the overwhelmingly positive response to Shaky Knees in three short years, it just felt like the right time to launch Shaky Boots.”

So, who have the organizers assembled to make their mark on the inaugural festival?

It’s a lineup that reads like a résumé of who’s who in country music, festival goers can expect to see performances by modern country male stars Justin Moore, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, and Blake Shelton, who’s garnered a wider audience with his role as coach on The Voice. There will also be performances by several chart-topping bands like the Eli Young Band, The Band Perry, and Rascal Flatts. Additionally, there will be performances by 1980’s country pioneer Dwight Yoakam, Sugarland’s Kristian Bush, Sara Evans, and Old Crow Medicine Show. And, the press release notes that more acts will be added to the 2-day lineup that stretches across three stages.

Tickets are onsale now via ShakyBoots.com, with two-day advance general admission passes starting at $169 plus taxes and fees. And, the festival is also offering a 2-day advance VIP pass option that starts at $499 plus taxes and fees. The VIP passes include exclusive lounges and viewing areas; catered lunches and dinners; complimentary beer; and access to private restrooms and cash liquor bars.
