Casualties of Cool is a collaborative music project featuring Devin Townsend and Ché Aimee Dorval. The two have a Pledge Music Campaign and have just released their first track, “Forgive Me”.
Devin Townsend is a Canadian artist who is currently working on this project as well as his other group, The Devin Townsend Project. He is been releasing music independently for years. Ché Aimee Dorval is another Canadian musician who has been performing with other talented artists since 2001. She joined Townsend in the music-making process in 2008. The debut album for Casualties of Cool will drop in May 2014.
The album has been funded by a Pledge Music Campaign. The album is now in production but the campaign has been wildly successful, reaching 468% of its goal. The first song is an automatic stream for the Casualties of Cool website, so visit the site to catch a glimpse of what’s to come.
