Temples @ Morgan’s Pier 8/6

Another free summer concert has been announced for Morgan’s Pier! Everyone’s favorite summer hangout will be hosting Temples this August! A few weeks ago we told you that Merchandise would be coming to Morgan’s Pier in June. The Temples show is also brought to you by R5, and this is looking like another great summer at the Pier.

Temples are a neo-psych group from England. They were formed in 2012 by lead singer James Edward Bagshaw and bassist Thomas Edison Warmsley. Despite their short history, they have already been lauded by some as the “the best new band in Britain.” They received attention after uploading 4 tracks to YouTube. They then released their debut single “Shelter Song” in 2012. Their next single “Colours to Life” wouldn’t drop until June of the following year.

Temples released their self-produced debut album, Sun Structures, in February of this year. The album has received praise for it’s ability “to combine new technology and instrumentation with vintage aesthetics and ideals, creating the band’s own neo-psychedelic palette.” Check out Temples on August 6th for FREE at Morgan’s Pier.
