The 2013 Bridge School Benefit concert has announced their lineup which will feature founder Neil Young alongside Crosby, Stills, and Nash. In addition Queens of the Stone Age, My Morning Jacket, the Killers, and more will be performing at this year’s event.
The 27th annual Bridge School Benefit Concert has just announced their 2013 lineup. Including a reunion from Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, the lineup will also feature the amazing talents of Queens of the Stone Age, My Morning Jacket, The Killers (Saturday only), Elvis Costello, Diana Krall, Fun., Heart, and Jenny Lewis. There will definitely be some special guest appearances for patrons to look forward to during the benefit show. The concert venue is the beautiful Mountain View, California Shoreline Amphitheater and will take place October 26th and 27th. The Killers will only be playing on Saturday, but the rest of the bands will be playing both days. The Saturday performances will start at 5pm and the Sunday performances will kick off at 2pm, making for an unforgettable acoustic show from some of the greats.
Neil Young and his wife Pegi founded the annual Bridge School Benefit Concert, and it’s success has aided in the work being done at the Bridge School. This organization helps people with severe speech and physical impairments to communicate through augmentative and alternative means and become active members of their communities. The Bridge School has been a leader in teaching lifelong learning strategies to individuals with these impairments, and instrumental in improving the lives of many.
