Denim Day was started in LA, but is now a nationwide event that has just become federally recognized. It was started in response to an infamous Italian court case which acquitted a rapist because his victim was wearing denim jeans.
This is the closing event for Denim Day in LA. Join us for a night of live jazz music, drinks and a comedy show featuring: Retta (Parks & Recreations), Wayne Federman (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Ali Wong (Are You There Chelsea), Laurie Kilmartin (Conan), Matt Kaye (Matt Kaye’s World) & Matt Kirshen (The Brit List) and more to be announced.
Tickets are on sale now for $25 but will probably be gone soon, so act quickly! It’s a great cause and a great lineup of entertainment.
