A statement released by recently re-united band Refused suggests that their return may soon be coming to an end.
As recently reported, the band came together earlier this year for the first time since 1998 to play series of concerts, starting with the Coachella festival in Indio. However, a facebook post written by lead singer Dennis Lyxzen after a canceled show last week suggests that Refused’s reunion may not last much longer. He wrote:
Basically we just want to play. The response has been overwhelming and we are having such a great time with this. We really wish that we could do more than are actually doing.
But we are not that type of band anymore.
This is a strange sort of one-off type of deal that is soon coming to an end.
