The recent sunshine here in LA has inspired some quality cruising crawling-down-the-highway-windows-down-music-blasting antics, and Rebelution has been my ideal soundtrack of choice on those languid drives. Their laidback reggae vibes are the perfect complement to a lazy day at the beach – or at least makes you feel like you’re at one…sipping on a beer, watching the waves crash on the shore and feeling the warm breeze on your skin with palm trees swaying in the background. (Can you tell I’m listening to them as I write this?)
The talented foursome is playing a show at the Palladium on February 17 to celebrate the release of their forthcoming triple-album Peace of Mind. That’s right, you read right: triple-album. Aka there’ll be acoustic and dub albums accompanying the studio album. Most chill group of overachievers ever, right?
