Shilpa Ray Releases Another Album Track, Plots Tour with Acid Mothers Temple

In support of their upcoming full-length Teenage and Torture, Shilpa Ray and Her Happy Hookers have released another new track from the album, and have set up tour with Japanese psych rockers Acid Mothers Temple.

Teenage and Torture is out January 18 on Knitting Factory Records, and the band’s just made available album track “Heaven In Stereo” for free download. The song joins Venus Shaver (available for free download here) as the two tracks released from the album so far.

The band has also plotted an extensive touring schedule for early 2011 in the wake of their recently canceled fall tour with Cornershop. Following some record release shows in January in New York, the band hits the road with Acid Mothers Temple in late March for a month of touring that takes them all across the US and into Canada.
