According to Pitchfork, English singer, songwriter and author, Steven Patrick Morrissey (or just Morrissey) will be going on a full world tour for this upcoming Fall.
Morrissey, known for his indie rock sound, and recently part of The Smiths, has been given a clean bill of health after his most recent string of health complication that had forced him to cancel many of his shows. The new tour will start off mid-August in Europe with a show in Germany and in England, where he had said he’d never perform again. A month after the Europe run Morrissey will be heading here to the United States with four scheduled shows that end in NY at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn. He will then jet all the way to Japan to continue on to his Asia and Australia run, returning to the US in November to finish off the tour.
The new tour will be a promising step in the singer’s career, and perhaps will convince Morrissey to hold off on his rumored expected retirement.
