It is great to see bands returning old albums to the public, especially when they can do it on their own label, and it seems US black metal rock troupe, Wolves In The Throne Room, are doing exactly that. According to Brooklynvegan, the band has announced earlier today that they will be going on a full September tour that will start in Brooklyn, NY on Sept. 13th, and end in Sommerville, MA, on Sept 27th.
The newly announced tour has been made in order to support the reissuing of the groups 2006 debut album Diadem of 12 Stars, which initially was released by Southern Lord Records. However, the reissued album, which is set to hit shelves on June 17th, is being released via Wolves In The Throne Room’s own label Artemisia.
Now that they are able to reissue and release their previous collection of albums, one can imagine that this tour will be followed by several more as the band continues to work on reissues. Here is hoping that once they have finished with all the previous albums, the band will move on to creating brand new studio albums for their rowdy fans.
