Post-hardcore band The Fall of Trot will be performing at the Fonda Theatre on November 7 with Kylesa & Powwers. The band has been together again since 2013 after a split up in 2010. They have announced and confirmed an upcoming new album is being worked on.
The trio is known for their technical, intricate style, unorthodox song structures and energetic stage presence. At the time of recording their first full LP, all three members were still under the age of 17. They quickly built up a fanbase and have released four studio albums, the latest being released in 2009.
On January 20, 2014, The Fall of Troy posted a video on their Facebook page, stating the following:
“We are nothing without you, and that is why we are going to do things differently this time around. We’re going to go directly to you guys, no more middle men, all DIY. We’re booking our own shows, where you want to see us. We are recording our own music, and we doing it all for you, and for free. Consider yourself our label, consider yourself our booking agent. We play where you want us to play, and we make music for you.”
The band is truly focused on delivering a fan-focused show and fan-focused albums, so now is the best time to get them if you haven’t already. Be sure to check out The Fall of Troy at the Fonda Theatre in November!
