The Budweiser Made In America Festival, now in its third year, has announced its 2014 lineups. The festival will be held in Philadelphia, as it’s always been, but starting this year, the festival has added Los Angeles as its second locaation.
The Made In America Festival was founded in 2012 by rapper and music mogul Jay-Z and has grown in size each year. Its musical diversity has set it apart from other music festivals around the country; it usually features a healthy dose of hip hop and rap, electronic music, funk and indie rock. Marketed by Jay-Z as a way for different genres of the music community to come together and celebrate music of all kinds, the festival takes place over Labor Day weekend and for the first two years, took place only in Philadelphia at Benjamin Franklin Parkway, on three different stages.
This year, the festival has expanded to include the West Coast. The second edition of the Made In America Festival will take place at Grand Park and is expected to attract about 50,000 people. Interestingly, the two festivals will take place at the same time, both on Labor Day weekend, and will feature completely separate lineups.
Tickets to both festivals are available here.
