According to Blabbermouth, the legendary rock band Aerosmith performed two “California Dream On: Aerosmith & Friends” concerts Sunday night at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California. These two performances were the group’s first shows since they had to cut their farewell tour short a little over three years ago.
Marcus King opened the all-star-guest-augmented portion of last night’s show with “Same Old Song And Dance” before ALICE IN CHAINS’ Jerry Cantrell played “Draw The Line” and “Nobody’s Fault” with AIC bandmate Mike Inez and guest singer Richie Kotzen.
For the final portion of Sunday night’s concert, lead singer Steven Tyler, guitarist Joe Perry, bassist Tom Hamilton, guitarist Brad Whitford and drummer John Douglas played a seven-song set by opening with “Toys In The Attic” and “Back In The Saddle”.
The band also ran through the tunes “Sweet Emotion”, “Dream On” and The Beatles’s classic”Come Together” before welcoming original drummer Joey Kramer and RUN-DMC for a version of their 1986 collaboration “Walk This Way” before closed the show out with “The Train Kept A-Rollin'”.
