Eest Coast hip-hop icons Snoop Dogg and Kurupt have joined forces once again for their new single, “Neighbors,”  which is out now via Death Row Records/gamma.. Built on a hard-hitting G-funk groove, the track is a raw salute to neighborhood pride, Los Angeles history and the deep-rooted camaraderie between two artists who have spent decades representing the West Coast. The ditty takes listeners back to the streets and era that shaped Kurupt, transporting them to late-’80s and early-’90s Los Angeles through vivid neighborhood references, regional slang and a roll call of the people and places that remain part of his story.

From Crenshaw and Slauson to Second Avenue and Arlington, Kurupt paints a picture of the world he came up in, grounding the record in knowing exactly where you’re from and carrying that identity with you. Snoop Dogg reinforces that sense of place throughout the record, trading energy with Kurupt and bringing his own neighborhood perspective to the track. Their chemistry reflects a relationship and shared history spanning more than three decades, making “Neighbors” feel less like a reunion and more like a natural continuation of a legacy they have been building since the early days of West Coast hip-hop.
