Young Thug, the genre-bending Atlanta rapper whose slippery melodies and fearless experimentation reshaped the sound of modern hip-hop, is set to bring YSL Records & Young Thug Present: The New Generation Tour to Los Angeles on Sunday, October 4 at YouTube Theater in Inglewood.
The run marks Young Thug’s first major tour in seven years, and his first cross-country trek since his 2024 release following a highly publicized RICO trial. Since returning, the rapper, born Jeffery Williams, has taken the stage at festivals including Summer Smash and ComplexCon, and fans can expect a set drawing heavily on his most recent album, UY SCUTI. Released in 2025, the project features “Money On Money” with Future alongside collaborations with Lil Baby, Mariah the Scientist, Cardi B and T.I., with a deluxe edition on the way.
True to its name, the tour spotlights the next wave of the YSL roster: Young Thug is joined by label signees Tezzus, 1300saint, Iyrus, Yume, Biggs, Unky and Diamond, with NAV appearing as a special guest across the North American dates. The trek opens September 1 in Rogers, Arkansas and winds through the Midwest, East Coast and South before reaching the West Coast, ultimately heading overseas for an October run that wraps in Paris.
One of the most influential rappers of his generation, Young Thug broke through with a run of acclaimed mixtapes in the mid-2010s before topping the charts with albums So Much Fun and Punk, and earning a Grammy for his work on the No. 1 single “This Is America” with Childish Gambino. Known for a singular, elastic vocal style that has inspired a generation of artists, he arrives in Los Angeles at a pivotal moment of return. For fans, the YouTube Theater show offers a rare chance to see one of hip-hop’s true innovators back on stage.
