The Afghan Whigs have been slowly rolling back into fans hearts this last year, most notably with a performance alongside Usher at the 2013 SXSW festival. Now they’re set to properly announce their return to the fold with their first album release in 16 years.
Due out in North America April 15th, Do To The Beast will also be the group’s first record with Sub Pop in over 20 years.
Little information is out on the new album just yet, but details will soon be released. For now we can all at least be pacified with thoughts of The Afghan Whigs rockin’ Coachella out this Spring.
