Sleigh bells have released a cover of “Chloroform,” a track from Phoenix’s latest album, Bankrupt!

The noise-pop duo’s cover is one in a recent onslaught of Bankrupt! remixes. The album, which dropped over the Summer, has seen the likes of R. Kelly, Grizzly Bear, and J. Mascis rework it’s tracks, with more on the way in the next few months. “Chloroform” is the first cover that Sleigh Bells have ever attempted, and also the first track they’ve put out without the use their signature fuzz heavy guitar.

The Bells have a new album coming out, Bitter Rivals, set for release on October 8th. You can listen to one of it’s singles, “You Don’t Get Me Twice,” right now. As for Phoenix, catch them live with Dinosaur Jr. October 8th at the Los Angeles Sports Arena.
