JPEGMAFIA has announced the Lay Down My Life Tour. The tour includes a stop at the Fox Theater in Pomona on Wednesday, August 7 followed by a night at the Hollywood Palladium on Friday, August 23.
JPEGMAFIA has released tour dates in celebration of his new upcoming album, which the artist has been teasing throughout the year. The Lay Down My Life Tour kicks off in Pomona, California on August 7 and will stop in cities like Vancouver, Los Angeles, Austin, New York, and Toronto before wrapping up in Chicago on September 21st.
The Baltimore rapper has yet revealed much of any details regarding the new record, but has teased that collaborations with with Denzel Curry, Raveena and Marc Rebillet. JPEGMAFIA recently released his first single in nearly four years. “Don’t rely on other men” is his first solo release since 2021’s LP!, JPEGMAFIA’s fourth studio album. Last year, JPEGMAFIA teamed up with Danny Brown for their collaborative album Scaring The Hoes.
JPEGMAFIA’s lo-fi approach, political lyrics, ethereal noisy beats and genuine roots in the underground scene are refreshingly visceral and have made him one of the hottest, relevant and important rappers in the country. His work is often described as experimental hip hop, incorporating a wide range of genres.
