Rising country star Zach Bryan will be playing four nights on his 2024 “The Quittin’ Time Tour” at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY on March 27 and 28 and December 18 and 19.
Zach Bryan is a folk-country singer who got his start by uploading music to YouTube in 2017 with recordings his friends took of him on an iPhone. His first song to go viral was “Heading South,” which has now gained over 30 million plays on Spotify. His debut album, DeAnn, was dedicated to his late mother; the album debuted on the US Billboard 200 in 2023 following the increase in Bryan’s profile after his chart successes in 2022.
In 2022, Bryan released his first major-label album, American Heartbreak, which debuted at number five on the US Billboard 200. His success continues to climb, and in 2023 Bryan received the Academy of Country Music Award for New Male Artist of the Year. Soon after, Zach Bryan released his self-titled fourth album, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. The following month, he released his third EP, Boys of Faith, which included songs featuring fellow artists Noah Kahan and Bon Iver.
Zach Bryan’s music has been characterized as country, alt-country, folk, and red dirt- a genre that is best likened to indie rock as there is no defining sound to every band that is in this classification. Artists in this sub-genre are described as americana, folk, rock, country, bluegrass, blues, Western swing, and honky-tonk, with even a few Mexican influences.
