Due to an overwhelming demand, The Weeknd has announced a second Los Angeles date to take place on Sunday, Nov. 27 at SoFi Stadium to close out his global After Hours Til Dawn Tour. The Weeknd also announced a reschedule date for his canceled LA show on Saturday, Sept. 3 no scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 26.
Earlier this month, The Weeknd canceled his LA SoFi Stadium performance after losing his voice, fans can now be at ease as it has been rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 26. Ticket holders of the Sept. 3 show will have their tickets transferred automatically for the Nov. 26 date. If unable to attend, fans can request a refund until Thursday, Oct. 27.
An additional show has been announced for Thanksgiving weekend at the SoFi Stadium to close out the After Hours Til Dawn Tour on Sunday, Nov. 27. The additional show is a result of the overwhelmingly high demand from fans after selling out every show across 20 dates, breaking attendance records.
The tour celebrates The Weeknd’s 2020 album After Hours, which includes hit single “Blinding Lights” named No. 1 in Billboard’s Hot 100 song of all time. The tour also highlights his most recent album Dawn FM, released earlier this year. The After Hours Till Dawn Tour is powered by Binance, the global blockchain ecosystem behind the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, bringing Web 3.0 technology to concert-goers worldwide. Ticket holders will receive souvenir NFTs as well as access to an exclusive NFT collection for The Weeknd’s tour in collaboration with HXOUSE. A portion of the upcoming NFT sales will be donated to the XO Humanitarian Fund.
Tickets for the Nov. 27 date will go on sale starting Monday, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.com. Pre-sale will be available starting Thursday, Sept. 29. The Weeknd will donate $1 from each ticket sold towards his XO Humanitarian Fund in support of the United Nations World Food Programme’s life-saving food association to hunger emergencies around the world.
