Award-winning German folk band Milky Chance are ready to press play on their Mind The Moon tour after postponing their tour due to Covid-19. They’ll be hitting the road this April, hitting multiple stops in North America including The Wiltern in Los Angeles on May 26, 2021.
Milky Chance hit the ground running with their 2013 single “Stolen Dance” topping charts in several countries. Their 2013 debut album Sadnecessary included more chart-topping hits like “Down By the River” and the album was named Album of the Week by Spin magazine. Following their debut, the band toured around the US and Canada, and performed at Coachella festival. They also appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! further signifying that they were ready to take on the world. Their sophomore album Blossom was followed up with more festival appearances including Osheaga Festival, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits.
Their third album Mind The Moon was released in 2019 and blends folk music with electronic beats. Founding members Clemens Rehbein and Philipp Dausch have found a unique way of combining influences from their jazz roots with their favorite bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers and Bob Marley, creating a sonic blend of folk, reggae and jazz.
