Pop star Halsey released her latest album Manic this past January and planned a tour this summer. The tour was initially scheduled to begin in June 2020 with guest performers Chvrches and Omar Apollo, but has been rescheduled to June 2021 due to Covid-19. The tour has an LA date scheduled at the Hollywood Bowl on June 9, 2021.
The New Jersey native saw early success with the release of her debut album Badlands, which hit number two on the Billboard chart. In 2016, she earned continued success with a hit single collaboration with The Chainsmokers’, “Closer.” Her 2017 album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom was another chart-topping album and featured the hit “Bad at Love.” But by the end of 2018 she had her first number one single as a lead artist with “Without Me.” Halsey’s success has paved the way for collaborations with high-profile artists including Justin Timberlake, Yungblood, Sia and K-pop superstars BTS.
Halsey’s third full-length album Manic is a self described blend of “dark angry music.” Singles “Nightmare” and “Graveyard” marked a darker, more brooding sound for the pop star. The album has proven just as successful with single “Without Me” topping the charts yet again. See this pop star perform in all her glory at the boastful Hollywood Bowl next summer.
