For those of you who were enraged, saddened, depressed, in need of therapy, ready to punch someone in the face over the cancellation of this year’s Sunset Junction Street Fair, wipe those tears and throw on your favorite pair of skinny jeans- there is relief. This Saturday, East Hollywood is throwing its third annual ArtCycle, a street fair that aims to bring “live music back to the streets of Los Angeles in an event that is free of barricades, wristbands, thuggish security, and high ticket prices.”
Sounds promising, if just for lack of thuggish security. (hate them).
The event will feature an eclectic roster of music, from bands like Oklahoma’s rock trio The Neighborhood to LA’s own resident house/indie/electro mastermind Robert DeLong (full list + set times below), as well as featuring various artistic showcases, vendors, gourmet food trucks (yum), bicyclist resources, an art contest, and activities for kids.
Best of all? This whole event is totally free and open to all. Sweet.
