Lindemann, a musical project featuring Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann and Hypocrisy/PAIN multi-instrumentalist Peter Tägtgren, has announced a new album F & M set for November 22 release via Caroline Records. The German/Swedish industrial metal super-duo shared the album single “Steh Auf” accompanied by a music video on September 13th.
Produced and mixed by Tägtgren, F & M is the second album of Lindemann, following up his 2015 debut album Skills in Pills, which reached Gold status in Germany and was entirely in English. According to the press release, “Five songs from this critically-acclaimed play have been supplemented with six brand new masterpieces to form the impressive new studio work from LINDEMANN.”
With the arrival of the music video, “Steh auf” creates a powerful visual impact and bizarre tension throughout. Director Zoran Bihac, who previously worked with RAMMSTEIN and LINDEMANN, successfully stimulates the nerves with his excellent imagery and the ominous red palette. The video is also graced with a professional performance from actor Peter Stormare (The Big Lebowski, Fargo).
The 11-tracks of the F & M album will be packed into four different formats for fans to purchase: Standard Edition (6-panel digipack), a Special Edition (deluxe hardcover book), 2LP version (180gr black vinyl) and Digital Formats. Check out the tracklist and artwork below.
After announcing several release dates, Rammstein finally dropped its seventh album RAMMSTEIN this May, in celebration of their 25th anniversary. The German electro-industrial steamrollers are fresh off an intense European tour this summer, but the band stopped and announced a new European tour leg in support of their new album for 2020. Tour tickets can be found HERE. Check out the music video of “Steh auf” below.
