Don’t worry, 65daysofstaric have a couple of things lined up for 2019. The band has curated a new music subscription service titled U/U Vol.4, giving fans to listen to a wide archive of new material over a year course. Over the year, the band will release short EP’s monthly beginning May 01, with the first one titled Kazmir. Along with the download of the service, fans will get an instant download of their 2011 album Silent Running and Stumble.Stop.Repeat, their first EP released in 2003.
Along with getting a year worth of new material, the band will also be launching a podcast show called Bleak Strategies. The podcast is available on all podcast platforms and discusses the reality of being in their band. The band’s last musical effort was last years algorithmic song “Z1,” following their curation of the No Man’s Sky video game soundtrack in 2016, performing it for the very first time in London at 2fly studios.
The soundtrack also made some headlines, with Universal taking down videos, removing the music on all streaming apps, and preventing the band from uploading their music to their Soundcloud page. It was noted from Twitch streams of the game, which was then only available by purchasing a physical copy. Their last non-soundtrack album was 2013’s Wild Light.
