Mempho Festival hits Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, Tennessee this coming October 6-7, 2018. The festival lineup is incredible with artists like Beck, Nas, Post Malone, Phoenix, Janelle Monae and many others.
Memphis is home to the three kings – Elvis Presley the King of Rock n’ Roll, along with Martin Luther King and BB King. This town is no stranger to being a positive influence to all and embraces millions of visitors every year.
Mempho Music Festival was created to blend today’s best contemporary sounds with Memphis’ storied musical heritage. The festival experience ties these roots together with music, food, and nature. Building off Mempho’s inaugural year, in 2018, the festival will offer multiple live music stages, art installations, a unique food experience, and an interactive dome that melds together the worlds of music, art, science, and design.
The 2018 food lineup, features some of the best of Memphis and Southern style cuisine. Corky’s Ribs & BBQ, New Wing Order, Smurfrey Smokehouse, Fresh Gulf Shrimp, Bella Caffe Coffee, Miss Birdsong’s Sweet Tooth and more round out an amazing selection of eateries. VIP and Super VIP ticket buyers, will be treated to meals by celebrated and award winning Memphis Chef, Karen Carrier.
Not only is there music, but the festival is offering camping for those who want to get the real down home feeling. On-site camping is available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for those who want to stretch out on 4,500 acres.
Shelby Farms Park is one of the largest urban parks in the country with more than 20 bodies of water, serving as the perfect backdrop to Mempho’s continuous playlist.
Just 20 miles away from Memphis – Shelby Farms Park offers a variety of activities, including zip-lining through the trees; canoeing, paddleboating, and kayaking the lakes; biking through the tree-lined paths; horseback riding; and much more.
