In This Moment, the Atlantic/Roadrunner metal band and Grammy-winning hard rock band Halestorm are currently rocking out on their all-female fronted summer tour with only just four more shows left of the month. Today, both bands have revealed the monstrous good news that they are going to kick off the third leg of their all-female fronted tour later this year and have announced those dates.
The new shows also include special support from New Years Day. Scroll down below to check out the entire summer itinerary. These new series of dates will start November 16th in Norfolk, Virginia and continue through December 16th finishing their run in St. Petersburg, Florida. Some stops along the way include shows in Syracuse, New York City, Cleveland, Minneapolis, San Antonio, Dallas, and Orlando.
All three frontwomen commented on joining forces on the road.
“You asked for it, and now you’re gonna get it,” said Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale. “I’m so excited to announce the third leg with my empowering, beautifully Vicious women! Three tours and we don’t show any signs of slowing! We are joined by our friends in In This Moment and New Years Day starting in November! Get your tickets now because you don’t want to miss this!”
“We are so beyond excited to be announcing the third leg of such an empowering and beautiful tour,” said Maria Brink of In This Moment. “We knew after completing the first leg that this was something people were going to be paying attention to, and it felt strong, it felt powerful, and it felt liberating. I am so excited to see everybody at the upcoming shows!”
“Touring with Maria and Lzzy has been, by far, the best touring experience I’ve ever had,” said Ash Costello of New Years Day. “I am lifted up and supported by the amazing women of this tour, and everyone feels as if they are family who are rooting for each other to kill it every single night. The positivity is incredible on a personal level. Not to mention, the shows are absolutely ferocious. I am honored to be on stage with these incredible women of metal and rock once again! And honestly, I hope there’s no end in sight!”
Fans of both bands can purchase tickets when they go on sale this Friday, July 27th. That same day also coincides with the release of Halestorm’s fourth studio album, Vicious. The new album is available now to pre-order, here. Friday is also the day when all three bands will begin the second leg of their tour, which will kick off in Kansas City at MO’s Silverstein Eye Centers Arena.
This past Friday, Halestorm unleashed their third song off their upcoming new album, Vicious, entitled “Do Not Disturb.” The first single they shared with fans were called “Uncomfortable” and is currently sitting pretty on the top 100 at active rock radio. The album is produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Alice in Chains, and Ruch) and was recorded earlier this year at Nashville, Tennessee.
In This Moment is a Los Angelas based metal band whose latest album, Ritual came out in July of last year. The album featured hits such as “Roots” and “Black Wedding,” the latter featured an assist from Judas Priest’s Rob Halford. Singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth, the founding ladies of In This Moment, recently recorded the song, “The Calling,” which was featured in the Dark Nights: Metal Deluxe Edition.
New Years Day was formed in Orange County, California by Ashley Costello. Their debut album, Victim to Villain, was released in 2013 and featured their breakout single “Angel Eyes.” The five-member group followed it up their Epidemic EP and critically acclaimed full-length album Malevolence in 2015 which clocked more than 20 million views on Youtube. Earlier this year, New Years Day released Diary of a Creep which paid tribute to the artists that shaped them.
