Danzig fans rejoice! The band has announced a fall U.S. tour in celebration of their 30th anniversary. The seven city tour will kick off October 24th in Portland, Oregon. The tour will also visit Seattle, Salt Lake City, Alberqurquee and Denver before concluding November 3rd in Irvine, CA. In a social media post from the band, they have hinted at these shows being their last for a long time. Danzig’s According to the PRP, “the shows will be his last dates ‘for awhile’ as he begins ‘concentrating on other projects which we will tell you about at a later date.'”
Frontman Glenn Danzig has recently featured on heavy-metal band Devildriver’s album Outlaws ‘Til The End: Vol 1, alongside Hank Williams III, and Randy Blythe. He also reunited with his other band the Misfits at Chicago’s Riotfest last year. After Danzig expressed that he was open to playing more Misfits shows, the band did just that.
The band has since played reunion shows in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and most recently New Jersey, the band’s hometown. The band recently released the music video for their song “Last Ride” off of their album Black Laden Crown, released last year. The album received critical acclaim, with mxdwn saying that it is sure to be regarded as a classic. Following its album release, the band went on a summer tour with Corrosion of Conformity.
