Moses Sumney has released a new EP dedicated to his standout track “Make Out In My Car” originally featured on his critically-acclaimed debut LP Aromanticism. The EP, Make Out In My Car: Chameleon Suite gathers Alex Isley, James Blake and Sufjan Stevens in reimaginings of the track, giving their spin on the already beautiful song. Isley performs the song as a duet with Moses, Blake remixes the beat into a new production with new vocals and new verses from Moses himself, and Stevens writes an entirely new song build around the original to bring his version to the world. His track sounds almost like an entirely new track and deserves a listen or two.
This past April, Sumney shared the video for his track, Quarrel, off his record Aromantcism. The album was released last September 21st. At the 90th Academy Award Show earlier this year, Sumney joined Stevens on stage to perform “Mystery of Love,” the best song nominee from Call Me By Your Name. The performance also featured St. Vincent and Chris Thile. Blake recently released his new track titled “Don’t Miss It,” and Stevens performed recently on the Thile -hosted “Live From Here.”
