Helsinki’s annual Flow Festival has announced a mouthwatering first wave of acts for its 2018 event.
The music festival will host Kendrick Lamar as its first headline, along with major acts such as Fever Ray, Patti Smith, St Vincent, Lykke Li, Arctic Monkeys, Fleet Foxes, Grizzly Bear, Bonobo, Alma, Sigrid, Mura Masa, Brockhampton, Kevin Morby, Shame, DJ Helena Hauff, and Moodymann.
Along the amazing international acts, there are a plethora of Finnish artists to celebrate its culture, including Lake Jons, Vesta, Kube x Eevil Stöö, Onni Boi, 3TM, Kakka-Hätä, Kynnet, Ibe, and Anna Puu.
The three day festival, which takes place in an industrial space in Helsinki and celebrates the culture of the Finnish capital, is particularly beloved for its stunning location, art spaces and other hidden gems that give the festival its unique identity.
It has managed to embrace the shift [of the European festival scene] while also holding onto the traditions which have constantly made it stand out from a plethora of similar events. Flow Festival is also dedicated to championing great food and drink, with a wide variety of restaurants set to feature at the festival.
Flow Festival takes place at Suvilahti in Helsinki, Finland, from 10 – 12 August – tickets are on sale now.

UPDATE: Another set of performers have been announced to in addition to the already mouth-watering lineup, including the likes of Noname, Susanne Sundfør and Alice Glass. Other additions include Charlotte Gainsbourg, D.A.F., Fred Ventura, Jorja Smith and Tangerine Dream. Like the original lineup, the international acts are well balanced against a slew of amazing Finnish artists, such as Olavi Uusivirta, Töölön Ketterä, Pyhimys, View and Stig Dogg + special guests.
