Amanda Palmer and Brendan Maclean performed a cover of Bat For Lashes’ song “Laura” at the All Saints Church in Brighton, UK. Amanda Palmer sits at a large grand piano at the left stage while Brendan Maclean stands at the mic in a glorious black suit jacket. The show setting seems extremely intimate, performing in a quaint little church on a small stage to a limited audience and it feels incredibly personal. Amanda Palmer and Brendan Maclean even offers a personal antidote about performing at the Sydney Festival and comments on the fact they’re playing in a church building. But the real show begins once they start singing, and their vocals sound beautiful as ever, echoing throughout the church halls. Check out the entire video below.

Palmer had asked him to join her at the Sydney Festival where they also performed a duet to “Laura,” like in the video. Since then the pair has performed at several more venues and recorded music together. They have proved themselves to be an amazing duo, as portrayed in the video.
