Miley Cyrus Shares Previously Unreleased Demos “Cold Blooded” & “You” From Nobody Wants This Season 3 Soundtrack

Netflix’s hit romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This just debuted it’s third season yesterday, and alongside it came the release of it’s official soundtrack and with it were some surprises from it’s star-studded lineup. One of the biggest standouts in the 17 song release, however, are two tracks from music icon Miley Cyrus. Cyrus contributed two songs to the soundtrack, both of which were previously unreleased demos. They can be found on YouTube.

“Cold Blooded” is a track that has yet to see an official release (though fan-uploaded versions and leaks can be found on the internet). This newly released demo version features a somber piano track as the sole backing over Cyrus’ vocals, where she sings about becoming “cold blooded” and closing herself off to avoid pain. The release is sure to come as a treat for fans who’ve been anticipating an official version of the song.

The second song, “You (Demo)” is a demo version of a song off 2023’s Endless Summer Vacation. This version strips back much of the instrumentation, once again mainly focusing on the piano being the only backing to Cyrus’ vocals. The new version runs a little shorter than the original 2023 release.

These new tracks come just after Cyrus’ return to the stage after a 4 year hiatus from live performances and the release of her latest album, Bass Persuades. Cyrus is one of many names to contribute to the Nobody Wants This Season 3 soundtrack, alongside names like Megan Moroney, Stella Lefty, Bailey Zimmerman and Cameron Whitcomb.

Steven Taylor: Hello, I'm Steven! I'm a graduate of Seton Hall University. I majored in journalism, with a minor in Public Relations. I've always had a passion for the arts and creative fields. Writing especially is an area I've always found myself gravitating towards, between assignments in class, working for the school newspaper or just writing in my spare time. I love providing and hearing new perspectives. In addition to my studies and work in writing, I work part-time at after-school and summer programs for my local elementary school. I've been a part of these programs since I was in high school, and I've even been assigned to work one-to-one with children with special needs. I like to think that if I'm able to communicate well with children in the 2nd grade, then I can communicate well with most adults too!
