Sean “Diddy” Combs Hospitalized Following Head Injury Sustained In Prison

Due to a reported head injury, Sean “Diddy” Combs was transferred from federal prison to the hospital early on Saturday morning. Combs received medical attention for a “non-life threatening injury”. He was taken back to prison later that day, where he continues serving a 50 month sentence at Fort Dix in New Jersey

According to Variety, Combs’ recently “made the news for his supposed VIP treatment at Fort Dix.” It’s reported that he was able to view sexually explicit photos that an old girlfriend sends him and he has access to liquor smuggled in by prison guards, as NBC News reported. The musician was convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution last year. Despite being in federal prison, the inmate has been living “a privileged life.”

NBC tells us that Fort Dix, like many other state and federal prisons, grapples with contraband often. The LA Times reported that Combs’ was moved back into solitary confinement after NBC News shed light upon Combs’ alleged prison privileges.

In August, Combs was involved in legal battle with Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones where Combs countersued Jones for allegedly stealing his private footage to sell it to Netflix. Jones original suit came from alleged sexual abuse and harassment during the production of Combs’ The Love Album: Off the Grid.
