On the night of October 12th, during Bright Eyes‘ concert, Phoebe Bridgers sang the band’s 2005 song “Lua”. The performance took place at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville. Bridgers sang along with Conor Oberst, trading verses and joining for duets during the chorus.

Consequence described it as “Bridgers harmonizing over Oberst’s shaky baritone.” As their tour dates overlapped, they were both in Nashville this week. Oberst and Bridgers had previously worked together before on their duo project, Better Oblivion Community Center.

Better Oblivion Community Center has released one self titled album and two singles. Bridgers recently performed a song off that album titled “Chesapeake”. The song made a concert appearance for the first time in three years on Sunday at the Bridgestone Arena. Bridger’s recent Lost Tour has a handful of tour dates left. She recently reunited with her bandmates from boygenius, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker earlier this month.
