Aerosmith Tease New Shows At Hollywood Bowl For Fall 2026

UPDATE: 10/8/2026: after yesterday’s exciting announcement, Aerosmith has shared the news that Guns N’ Roses will join them on stage as very special guest performers for the two historic nights at the Hollywood Bowl. Also, more legendary artists, special guests and surprise appearances will be announced soon.

UPDATE: 10/7/2026 –  It has been announced that California, Dream On: Aerosmith & Friends will happen on October 29 and November 1, of this year at  Los Angeles’s  Hollywood Bowl. Performing with the band will be The Black Crowes, RUN DMC, Heart, Andrew Watt, Billy Idol, Chad Smith (RHCP), Duff McKagan (GN’R), Eric Church, Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains), Marcus King, Mike Inez (Alice In Chains), Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme), Pat Monahan (Train), Sammy Hagar, Slash (GN’R), Steve Stevens, Sully Erna (Godsmack), Tom Morello, Adam Wakeman, Audley Freed, Kenny Aronoff and other acts.

According to Consequence.net, Aerosmith have surprised their fans by teasing an imminent return to the stage in new video clip featuring frontman Steven Tyler and the upcoming shows appear to be taking place at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The video clip shows Tyler on a ladder adding letters to the Hollywood Bowl’s marquee, with famed photographer Ross Halfin giving him a hand.

Then, the Aerosmith singer asks Halfin for an ampersand by exclaiming: “It’s ‘Aerosmith and Friends, Ross… Aerosmith and Friends!” The dates on the marquee read “Oct. 29” and “Nov. 1.” Aerosmith essentially retired from touring due to a vocal injury sustained by Tyler only a few shows into the band’s farewell tour in September 2023. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame act had planned to embark on a rescheduled tour in 2024, but it was canceled outright a month before it launched, with the band announcing its touring days were over due to Tyler’s injury.

But on a brighter note, Tyler has since performed at a few benefit shows and awards ceremonies, as well as the “Back to the Beginning” concert, with his voice sounding pretty strong. Also, the full details of Aerosmith’s comeback shows will be revealed on Tuesday, October 6, at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET.
