The stand-alone single is the band’s first new music since the release of their 2025 album, Tsunami Sea. As a whole, the music is awesome by how the ditty leans more toward rock than metal by using dynamic compressed riffs to create washes of color rather than being driven by the riff. Also, a a light progressive flourishes and lingering elements of metalcore in the vein of A Killswitch Engage sound, vocalist Courtney LaPlante gives a expressive clean vocal performance.
As for the music video, each scene shifts from black and white to vibrant color alongside the single’s cover art that is strongly implying a deliberate shift from Tsunami Sea, which prominently featured simplified black and white aesthetics for the album and tour.
