Jelly Roll Uninvited From Big Blue Bash Event At Mar-a-Lago Following Trump Jokes On Jimmy Kimmel Live

According to Consequence.net, Jelly Roll has been disinvited from performing at the Big Blue Bash, which is an annual event at Mar-a-Lago benefiting the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Foundation, after joking at Donald Trump’s expense while guest-hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live! Kyle S. Reyes, owner of the law enforcement media outlet The Police Tribune, which is involved in organizing the event, explained the decision in a lengthy post on social media Friday night. “What I saw last week with this self-absorbed ‘artist’ bashing President Trump and Conservatives was not a man who walks in the footsteps of Jesus Christ – it was a man desperately seeking attention and relevancy from the very Godless crowd that has categorically rejected his preaching,” he wrote.

Reyes said an invitation had been sent to Jelly Roll on April 26, although it is unclear whether the musician ever accepted it or formally agreed to perform. Nevertheless, Reyes said he was “formally withdrawing the invitation for Jelly Roll” and would instead book country singer Coffey Anderson. Other confirmed participants for the Big Blue Bash expected include Lou Ferrigno, Dean Cain, and Kevin Sorbo, as this year’s event is themed “American Superheroes.”
